A property valuation is a legal and professional assessment of the value of a property. These can be required for various reasons, these could include:

 

•          unsure about purchase price

•          matrimonial valuations

•          probate valuations

•          help-to-buy valuations

•          shared ownerships valuation

•          right to buy valuation

•          asset valuation

Each valuations is carried out by a RICS-registered valuer who will asses the overall condition of the property, the construction method, it's size, location and other attributes and features that may affect the value.

The valuer will then use their expertise and local knowledge of the area and it's housing market to asses local comparable sales data of other sold properties to arrive at a final valuation of your property.
